There were... read more two maids, a guard in the morning and one at night. This house has an amazing view and is up at the top of a hill, so the road that leads to the house is super steep and dark, so we didn’t like going up the road at night or when it rained, because it was slippery for cars. However, all the taxis know the area and go up and down that road without a problem, but if you’re renting a car, be careful. I recommend you go to salto el Limón, playa rincón, los haitises, Cayo levantado and as many beaches as you can… so worth it! We had a party of 10, including 4 kids and they had a blast. The Pool area was our hang out spot and we would leave during the day and come back early enough to enjoy the pool, put some music on and cook. Make sure you go to the supermarket, and cook, because the food is a bit overpriced at the restaurants… also, the maids can cook for you for a fee. Overall a great experience!

We really enjoyed the kitchen as we used it several times during our stay. The concierge and security guard were very helpful when we needed certain things like where to find the nearest grocery.
We had a pleasant stay and therefore would be happy to stay in this house again.

The area is so beautiful, close to the beach by car. There are many restaurants in case you don’t feel like cooking and so many things to do.

We utilized the professional chef, who’s food was delicious, right in the comfort of the villa. There are housekeepers that come every morning, which is very convenient. Antonio, the concierge, was super helpful and friendly. Toby, the security guard, is on the villa grounds so we felt super safe at all times. Lise Anne connected me with a driver, Rafael, since we didn’t rent a car. He was amazing and took us where ever we wanted. He even picked us up from the airport in Santo Domingo.

I will definitely return to this villa in the future! I recommend 100%. You will really enjoy your vacation staying here!

The path is not paved to get the entrance of the house but it is nothing that it can't be handled. I would totally book this place again! One more thing, the communication with the host was excellent, they were on point and answer at all times. Thank you Lise Anne !

Only downside was the new... read more construction happening next to the Villa which woke us up a couple of mornings, and they emphasize no speakers and no loud music but on our last night before having to leave early in the morning the neighbors had a huge party with a dj that lasted all night and into the morning. We left at 7am and the party was still going. This was not the fault of the host by any means and she was very apologetic about it. All in all I would definitely rent this villa again as it was amazing with a lot of space and very clean!

Karena cooked breakfast for us and also got us connected with her husband Felix which guided us to all the nearby excursions (saltó el limón, Cayó Levantado, horseback riding). I would definitely seek this location for my next trip to Las Terrenas.
