This house has an amazing view and is up at the top of a hill, so the road that leads to the house is super steep and dark, so we didn’t like going up the road at night or when it rained, because it was slippery for cars. However, all the taxis know the area and go up and down that road without a problem, but if you’re renting a car, be careful. I recommend you go to salto el Limón, playa rincón, los haitises, Cayo levantado and as many beaches as you can… so worth it! We had a party of 10, including 4 kids and they had a blast. The Pool area was our hang out spot and we would leave during the day and come back early enough to enjoy the pool, put some music on and cook. Make sure you go to the supermarket, and cook, because the food is a bit overpriced at the restaurants… also, the maids can cook for you for a fee. Overall a great experience!

The host even purchased a pack and play crib for my baby during our stay.

Besides the beauty of the villa, what stands out the most is how CLEAN everything is. I had a 4 month old baby and felt super comfortable the entire time.

Bring beach towels and bug repellent! The entrance is a bit scary but we made it each time— only in DR! Make sure you have a strong vehicle to make it up the steep hill.

I would suggest to have them stay outside in the back yard not in the kitchen where we were talking and wanted to be alone enjoying in between family. I have been in other villas and usually we have the concierge greeting us and giving contact info for any needs. You truly have the most beautiful view at BELLA VISTA! Perfect location, close to the heart of Las Terrenas and the beach at El Portillo, only a 10 min drive to both. It's hard to come up with anything bad to say about our stay. If anything, just be careful going up the hill as it is very steep and there's a cliff right when you reach the top to turn right to find the house. Overall, we LOVED everything about this house! The area is so beautiful, close to the beach by car. There are many restaurants in case you don’t feel like cooking and so many things to do.

We utilized the professional chef, who’s food was delicious, right in the comfort of the villa. There are housekeepers that come every morning, which is very convenient. Antonio, the concierge, was super helpful and friendly. Toby, the security guard, is on the villa grounds so we felt super safe at all times. Lise Anne connected me with a driver, Rafael, since we didn’t rent a car. He was amazing and took us where ever we wanted. He even picked us up from the airport in Santo Domingo.

I will definitely return to this villa in the future! I recommend 100%. You will really enjoy your vacation staying here!
