  Bella Vista sits on a mountain with a view from heaven. The pictures of the house are accurate with an open layout perfect for the 10 guest we had. Each... read more room has its own bathroom so each guest has their own space.
The house staff comes and cleans daily so you don’t need to stress about anything. The pool is cleaned daily and there are plenty of towels and fresh linens.
We welcomed the new year in by the pool with the view of fireworks in the distance. A great value for the large beautiful home.
Lise Anne was very responsive on all questions I had. There was little unknown before I pulled into the driveway.
Thank you so much for letting us use your home. We had an amazing time and couldn’t have imagined a more comfortable place to bring in the new year.

The only thing I did not like while... read more staying there is we had the cleaning people inside the house when I requested not to, specially because I am the type of person who cleans after everything I do, the owner said it was not exception not to have them there. I felt like the concierge was watching everything we were doing, I did not feel privacy having them inside the place. I would suggest to have them stay outside in the back yard not in the kitchen where we were talking and wanted to be alone enjoying in between family. I have been in other villas and usually we have the concierge greeting us and giving contact info for any needs. Other than the privacy topic , this place is great to stay at I definitely recommend it.

Bedrooms have fabulous views and... read more well-appointed bathrooms. Staff were excellent: friendly, helpful, professional. Hosts were wonderful; responsive, kind, and helpful. Some considerations: the driveway is difficult to find, especially in the dark. The property is located on a fast road away from town; anything off-property (e.g., groceries, beach, restaurants, banking) requires a car (or driver). May not be appropriate for younger children: polished concrete around pool and in house is slippery when wet; interior spiral staircase is open on one side and difficult to navigate; and some of the outside railings on the second floor are very loose(!). Kitchen equipment is limited for those who like to cook. Set careful expectations for working remotely; fine for one person, but if others are using the WiFi it starts to get glitchy.

Besides the beauty of the villa, what stands out the most is how CLEAN everything is. I had a 4 month old baby and felt super comfortable the entire time.

Bring beach towels and bug repellent! The entrance is a bit scary but we made it each time— only in DR! Make sure you have a strong vehicle to make it up the steep hill.

Karena cooked breakfast for us and also got us connected with her husband Felix which guided us to all the nearby excursions (saltó el limón, Cayó Levantado, horseback riding). I would definitely seek this location for my next trip to Las Terrenas.

The service was great! Lise Anne was very attentive and responsive and so was the concierge Antonio. We had security 24/7 and never felt unsafe. And the VIEWS OMG! You truly have the most beautiful view at BELLA VISTA! Perfect location, close to the heart of Las Terrenas and the beach at El Portillo, only a 10 min drive to both. It's hard to come up with anything bad to say about our stay. If anything, just be careful going up the hill as it is very steep and there's a cliff right when you reach the top to turn right to find the house. Overall, we LOVED everything about this house! And are already planning our next stay. 100% RECOMMENDED!

The house was well kept and definitely newer than the other nearby villas. There contact person on-site Antonio was extremely helpful and a security guard was there with you in property all night!

Beautiful views, private, and peaceful. Just a short drive to Las Terrenas Beach and various restaurants.

The pictures do not serve any justice to how beautiful the house is when you actually walk in. Best house I've stayed in so far. The view is captivating. My family was so impressed and ecstatic and we spent it better than expected. The location is near the town as well as beaches and the must see Salto de Limón. I highly and extremely recommend booking with Lise-Anne and staying at their beautiful and most modern home in Las Terrenas. We are already planning our next trip back and can't wait.
